Married Thomas Hix Shadrack Beaver.

Melbourne Times, Melbourne, Arkansas, April 23, 1926:

Mrs. Mary E. Beaver Dead

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Beaver, aged about 71 years died at her home at Violet Hill April 14 at 8:30 after a lingering illness.

She was the mother of ten children, eight of whom survive her; Mesdames, Attie Blevins, Iris Clift, G. W. Campbell, Grace Blevins, C. H. Carter, all of Violet Hill, Allie Burns of Franklin, N. T. Williams of Memphis and Jeffie Smith of Calico Rock. She also leaves an aged husband and one sister, Mrs. Josie Billingsley of Violet Hill, besides a large circle of other relatives and friends.

After funeral service in the home, conducted by Elders Soden and Hively, burial took place in Violet Hill Cemetery, Thursday afternoon.

Mary Elizabeth McCuistion was the daughter of James McCuistion (1815-1902) and Mary Ann Kimbrough (1824-1890).

She married Thomas Hix Shadrach Beaver and to them were born: Attie Valentine Beaver Blevins, Julia A. Beaver Burns, Iris May Elizabeth Beaver Clift, Nancy Theodocia Beaver Williams, Cora Hope Beaver Campbell, Grace Truman Beaver Blevins, Edith Magnolia Beaver Carter, Jeffie Eunice Beaver Smith, Alma Consula "Jo" Beaver Carter, and one un-named infant son who died in infancy.
