Mrs. Willie M. Gaston Laid To Rest Sunday.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Franklin Community Church for Willie M. Gaston who passed away on July 22. Rev. R. A. Robins of Ash Flat was the officiating minister. Burial was in the Violet Hill Cemetery. The Hall Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Willie M. Martin was born in Sharp County, Ark., Sept 9th, 1879. She was married in 1926 to W. A. Gaston.
She leaves the following children by a former marriage; Mrs. Boyce Gaston, Cushing, Okla., Cleatus Williams, Monahan, Texas, Cleo Williams, Pullman, Wash., Horace Williams, Wellston, Okla., and Reba Greer, Cushing, Okla., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also a sister, Mrs. Mary Howell of Ash Flat, Ark., and a brother Dave Welch.
Mrs. Gaston united with the Church of Christ several years ago.
