"Uncle Jim" Gaston
Word has just been received here of the death of Uncle Jim Gaston, aged 88 of Violet Hill. He is survived by five sons, W. H. of LaCrosse, Dee, Huse and Gershon of Violet Hill and Jay of Frederick, Okla., and three daughters, Mrs. Kans. Montgomery of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Linnie Forrest of LaCrosse and Mrs. Alice Weathers of this place and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Cooper and Rev. Williams and interment was in the Violet Hill Cemetery Wednesday afternoon.
