John M Wacaster, Sr
Bossier City, Louisiana – John M Wacaster Sr, 62, of Bossier City, Louisiana, died Saturday, March 26, 2011.
He was born March 3, 1949, in Hot Springs, the son of Fred J Wacaster and Juanita Harmon Wacaster. On September 14, 1978, he was married to Gina Chitwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Patsy Moore, and one niece, Cynthia Wacaster.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Royal and retired in 1992 from the US Air Force after 20 years of service.
John is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gina Wacaster, of Bossier City, Louisiana; one son, Mike Wacaster, Jr, of Hot Springs; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Glenda Wacaster, of Pearcy; two stepsisters and one stepbrother-in-law, Linda Priddy and Noel Pennington, and Susan Fulton, all of Hot Springs; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Brother George Lynch officiating.
Burial will be at Lowe Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
Pallbearers will be Ed Phillips, Bob Donathan, Kenny Wacaster, Jerry Chitwood, Charlie Chitwood, and Kevin Chitwood.
