Mr Rohiel Cranford, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died in the De Queen Medical Center, De Queen, AR.
He was born to Grover and Ethel Carothers Cranford at Texarkana, Arkansas. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U S Navy, and was retired from Pilgrim’s Pride, where he worked in sanitation. He attended the Old Center Church and was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Burrell Cox; his brother, Joe Cranford; sisters, Lucille Cranford, Loraine Cranford, and Pearline Ward; and two grandchildren, Glen David Cranford and Andrew Eric Wray.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Brenda Cranford of Horatio, and Danny and Tamara Cranford of Foreman; one daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Darrell Chandler of Horatio; one brother and sister-in-law, Cornelius and Nadine Cranford of Monticello, AR; one sister, Rovene Harris of Fresno, Calif; nine grandchildren, Mike and his wife, Sharon Chandler of Bodcaw, AR; Curtis and his wife, Tosha Chandler of Horatio, AR; Shera and her husband, Paul Chaney of Horatio; Priscila and her husband, Wayne Baker of De Queen; Crystal and her husband, Marty Morris of Dierks; Jason Cranford of Horatio; Amanda Butler of Foreman; Cody Butler of Horatio; and Kelsey Cranford of Foreman; thirteen great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Mike, Curtis, Jason, Cody, Marty, and Wayne.
Funeral Services are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen, and will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 20th in the Old Center Church with Bro Sam Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Center Cemetery, Horatio.
