ROLLER, Clarence - Fayetteville, Ark., March 16.- Clarence Roller, 28, of Stillwell, Okla. and Mrs. A.N. Cole, 50, of Fayetteville, are dead and Mrs. Fay Cole Roller, 21, Fayetteville, is seriously wounded as the result of a shooting which took place at the Cole home at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning. Roller first shot his mother-in-law, Mrs. Cole, in the forehead. She died at once. He then turned the gun on his wife. He then shot himself in the lungs, resulting in his death at the City Hospital at 1 o'clock this afternoon. Mrs. Roller was taken to the hospital at once. Hospital authorities state she has a slight chance for recovery. There were no witnesses to the tragedy. Details are unknown but it is thot jealousy was the motive. Mr. and Mrs. Roller were married last June and have been separated for two months. Mrs. Roller has been with her mother for some time. Roller arrived at 7:15 this morning from Fort Smith. He first went to the barber shop for a hair cut and shave before going to the Cole home. It is believed Roller was a drug fiend and was under the influence of the drug at the time of the shooting.
