Graveside services for Luther Martin NORWOOD, 78, Stilwell, were held Monday, October 12, 1992, at the Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln, Arkansas, with the Rev. Randy PROCTOR officiating. Interment was under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

He was born on October 5, 1914 in Lincoln, Arkansas, to John Thomas NORWOOD and Mary MARTIN NORWOOD. He died Friday, October 9 at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell.

He served for 20 years in the U.S. Army and spent 10 years in civil service as a food supervisor in Panama.

He was a member of the Retired Officers Assocation and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Willis Dean NORWOOD.

He is survived by his sister, Roberta, of Oklahoma; and several cousins and other relatives.
