Cyrus Benton Pitchford, 79 died July 30 at Cotter. He lived in Cotter 13 years. He married in 1891 to Miss Corneila Munn, who survives as do 12 children: Mrs Pearl Tinnon and Mrs Ada Hogsed of Cotter; Herbert and Ed Pitchford of Gainesville, Missouri; Mrs Mary Denton and Mrs Marie Rombach of Heiskill, Oklahoma; Wesley Pitchford of Beggs, Oklahoma; Ennie Pitchford of Pharoah, Oklahoma; Mrs Ellis Mears of Seminole, Oklahoma; Elmer Pitchford of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Mrs Edna West of Locust Grove, Oklahoma and Mrs Ruby Coday of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Burial was in Gassville Cemetery.
(Note: Cordelia was Ada's sister. Her name was Nunn, not Munn. Cordelia was Cyrus's second wife.)
