WEBBER, John - John Webber died at his home two and one-half miles east of Springdale on last Saturday morning at the advanced age of eighty-one years. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at the Friendship church and the services were conducted by Elder E.E. Hale. A large number of friends and relatives were present to do honor to the deceased. He was born in Switzerland in 1815 and came to the United States in 1849. He was one of the oldest residents of this section, having resided here for eighteen years. He leaves a wife and eight children.

WEBER, John - John Weber, 80 years of age, died at his home a short distance East of the city Saturday morning of dropsy. He was buried Sunday at Friendship, services being conducted by Eld. E.E. Hale. A large crowd was present. The deceased was born in Switzerland but had been a resident of Washington County for several years. He was honest and conscientious in all his dealings with his fellowman and had the respect of all who knew him. His daughter, Mrs. Lewis, wishes through The News to extend the thanks of the family to those who were so kind to them during the sickness and death of Mr. Weber.
