Mary E. Keene, 79, of Rt. 6, Bentonville, died Sunday in the Gravette Medical Center. She was born Dec. 3, 1897. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bob Edwards of Quitman, Norman L. Keene and Henry Keene, both of Bentonville; three daughters, Pat Farris of Fort Smith, Emma Nickel of Bentonville and Mary Lou Ford of Jane, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Fern Poe of Ulysses, Kan.; a brother, T.W. "Bill" Leach of Pea Ridge; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were today at the Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge with the Rev. Virgil Cope officiating. Burial was in the Pea Ridge Cemetery.
