Evaline Arnold was born December 20th 1842, fell asleep in Jesus May 21st 1919.
Her maiden name was Beaver. She was married to W. A. Arnold February the 4th 1861. This dear one was 75 years old and was born into the family of God when she was 15 years old and has from that time to the 21st of May 1919 lived a consistent member of the Baptist Church.
How marked is her vacant place in the home, in the church, and in all. What a sadness envelopes us when we realize that her presence here with us is forever with drawn, but what a joy when we recognize the voice of God as he speaks grace to all his children that live in him and die in him! What a comforting thought that God is glad to call his children home where they may never endure any more pain and sorrow! What a consolation when we read from the blessed book "Precious in the sight of Jehovah is the death of his saints!"
Our dear Aunt left for a little while, the battle is over, the victory won. She has fought a good fight, she has kept the faith, she has finished the course and is now offered up to her Master, to her reward, to her home prepared by her kind Father. A niece, Bettie Gilliland
