Nursery Employee Killed By Train

Rogers, May, 7- (Special) - William Fred Pollock, 51, was killed instantly early this morning when he was struck by a southbound train four blocks south of the the depot. Pollock apparently was returning home when he was struck. He was employed by the Benton County Nursery.

A World War I veteran, he was born in Benton county. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Stella Mae Garvin Pollock; five sons, six daughters, two brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 tomorrow morning at Callison's Funeral Home by the Rev. Noble J. Hamilton, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Pace's Chapel cemetery east of Rogers.
