Funeral services for Mrs. Astri Plumley, 83, widow of the late Richard Plumley, who died in 1912, were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Friendship church, east of
Springdale. Mrs. Plumley passed away last Thursday night at her home east of town. The services were conducted by Rev. E.F. Rice, Baptist minister. Pallbearers were Vernon Sears, Claude Jones, Albert Goodson, Clair Jones, R.T. Baldwin and Thurman Parson. Burial was in Friendship cemetery. Callsion-Riggs Funeral home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Plumley was born January 18, 1857 in Norway and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Knute Knuetson of that country. Mrs. Plumley is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Anna Tillman of Springdale; also by one brother, William Knuetson and one sister, Mrs. G. Paulison, both of Meridian, Texas; by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren
