MILTON A. EDDY
Milton A. Eddy, 88, 2701 Mida St., Springdale, died Feb. 6 at his home. Born Nov. 8, 1887, at Waldron, he was the son of N.W. and Rose Easton Eddy and a member of Elmdale Baptist Church. He was a retired trainmaster of the Kansas City Southern third district and was associated with KCS 50 years. He moved here in June, 1973, from Heavener, Okla. He was a deacon in First Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Heavener, Ameritta Grotto in Fort Smith, the McAlester, Okla. consistory and a Shriner in Muskogee, Okla. He was past president of the Lions Club in Heavener.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Pryor Eddy of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Roy J. (Maxine) Bowman, Springdale, and Mrs. Ralph (Milta) Triplett, Moreland, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Ola Hanes, Tulsa, Okla.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.

Emily Ruth Eddy, 106, of Springdale died April 21, 1994, at Holland Nursing Center-West. She was born Oct. 31, 1887, at Center Point (Little River County), the daughter of William L. and Emma Hill Pryor. She was a member of Elmdale Baptist Church of Springdale. She moved to the area 18 years ago from Heavener, Okla. Her Husband, Milton A. Eddy, to whom she married April 27, 1909, preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1976.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roy J. (Maxine) Bowman of Springdale and Mrs. Ralph (Milta Ruth) Triplett of Mooreland, Okla.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bluff Cemetery with the Rev. Arthur Nally and Dr. John Vornholt officiating. Arrangements are by Sisco Chapel of Springdale.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Elmdale Baptist Church Building Fund, 1700 W. Huntsville Ave., Springdale 72764.
