Corrine Elizabeth Miner of Elkins died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at her home. She was the daughter of Ralph Uhl and Ada Ellen Andrews.
She was owner and operator of Elkins Beauty Shop for 51 years and was preceded in death by her husband, Granville "Babe" Miner, and a son, William Ray Miner. Shehad been a resident of Elkins for 57 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Ledford of Elkins; sister, Delores Tuck of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Thursday, November 19, 2009, at Beards Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Glen Faulkner officiating.Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery following the service, under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
