Elsie May Walton, age 87, of the Monkey Run Community, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007. She was born March 12, 1920, in Flippin, Arkansas, to Andress David and Sara Bell (Henderson) Foster. She married James Lloyd Walton on September 6, 1941 in Mountain Home. She was a dedicated wife and mother who loved sewing, gardening, and fishing.

Survivors are: 7 children: Georgie D. Walton, and wife, Bertha, of Wappapello, MO, Barbara Haynes and husband, Asa, of Gassville, James E. Walton of Gassville, Jimmy Walton and wife, Mary, of Batesville, Monnia Green and husband, Pete, of Gassville, Eldon Walton of Gassville, and Stephen Walton and wife, Sue, of Mountain Home; 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son: Jessie, 7 brothers and 4 sisters.

Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Friday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5-7:00 P.M. A graveside funeral service will be at 2:00 PM. Saturday at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery with Reverend Tom Stover officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks’ Hospice House.
