Excerpt from The Baxter Bulletin, Mountain Home, Arkansas, March 6, 1936:
Died: Mr. A. J. Stafford, age 78. He leaves six sisters: Mrs. Viola Marler, Miss Jennie Stafford, Mrs. Lizzie Dilbeck, Miss Ethel Stafford, Mrs. Lucy Sinor and Miss Dessie Stafford and one brother J. S. Stafford.
