Kimi Harp Blythe, 44, of Springdale died Thursday, November 11, 2004, in her home. She was born on July 4, 1960, in Nurenberg, Germany to Gerald and Charlotte Dorsett Harp.
Mrs. Blythe married Keving Blythe on November 29, 1985, in Springdale. She was a teacher at Walker Elementary and later at Bernice Jones Elementary in Springdale, where she received the Teacher of the Year award. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was active in the Circle of Six. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi, a board member of the Arts Center of the Ozarks and a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow.
She is survived by her husband,a daughter, her mother and father, a brother, a twin sister a younger sister and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Service was held at 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Britt Skarda officiating. Interment was at Friendship Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contribution be made to the First United Methodist Church's Building Fund, 206 Johnson Ave, Springdale, AR 72764, or to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, TX 77210.
