Jesse Edward Dempsey, 64, of Rogers died Sunday at Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 9, 1912, in Clarksville, Texas.
He was a former resident of Pea Ridge. He was a retired truck driver and member of the Pea Ridge Methodist Church, and Odd Fellows Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Vivina M. Dempsey of the home; one son, James W. Dempsey of Aztec, N.M.; two brothers, M.W. Dempsey of Lamar, Colo., and Leonard Dempsey of Dimmitt, Texas; three sisters, Maudie Ownsby of Exeter, Mo., Telie Todd of Tyler, Texas, and Oleta Williams of Pea Ridge.
Services were held today at the Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge with Rev. George Hunt officiating. Burial was in Benton County Memorial Park.
