Son of James "Jim" and Ruby Jones Ellis.
First married to Loretta Lynn Wilkerson and then Karen Dacus.
He was an electrician for Facilities Management and Maintenance Service and a member of Highland Heights Baptist church. Survivors included his wife, Karen Dacus Ellis; one daughter, Amy Lynn Ellis of Houston, Tx; two stepsons, Joshua Eric Griffin and Zachary Clay Griffin, both of Benton; parents, Jim and Ruby Ellis Jr of Benton; and 2 sisters, Rachel Lacy of Benton and Mary Baldwin of Little Rock.
