Bertha Ann Plemons, 84, of Fayetteville died Jan. 1, 1992, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Feb. 7, 1907, at Alix, the daughter of Gerard Barney and Matti Wise Krallman. She received a bachelor's and master's degree in education from the University of Arkansas and taught school in Washington and Benton counties for 15 years and taught in the Tulsa school system for 18 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Retired Teachers Association.
Survivors include three sons, Bert Hendricks of Springdale, Dan Hendricks and Don Hendricks, both of Fayetteville; one sister, Clara Ackley of Dallas, Texas, and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Sisco Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. Paul Eden officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Starkey Foundation for the Hearing Impaired, 6700 Washington Ave. South, Eden Prairie, Minn. 55344.
