Gassville man
Glen Hodges, 67, of Gassville died Saturday at the Marion County Hospital.
Mr. Hodges was born Aug. 23, 1912, at Flippin, the son of King and Katie Palmer Hodges. He worked for the Ralston Purina Turkey Plant at Springdale. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include one son, Gary Lee Hodges of Rogers; five daughters, Ellen Gardner, Nancy Vines, Doris Bandon and Cellie Huddleston, all of Gassville, and Patricia Due of Flippin; two brother, Palmer Hodges of Cotter and Virgil Hodges of Whiteville; three sisters, Ora McCracken of Cotter, Mabel Wilbanks of Whiteville and Opal Banning of Mountain Home; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were Tuesday at the Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Barnett and the Rev. Estel Grigg officiating. Burial was in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home. Pallbeares were Opel Smith, Oscar Pruitt, Lonnie Burch, Bill Joe Hodges, Paul David Carson and Troy Willbanks.
