*Betty Jean (Robertson) Newman, age 67, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2006.
She was born August 27, 1939, in Morrilton, Arkansas, a daughter of Elvis Robertson and Iva Lee (Webb) Robertson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Downtown Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Pete Newman of Morrilton; son, Lewis Newman of Scotland; daughters, Cheryl Jean Stobaugh and husband Richie Stobaugh and Elizabeth Lynn Jones; father and mother, Elvis Robertson and Iva Lee (Webb) Robertson; brother, Arthur Lee Robertson; sister, Phoebe Biggs, all of Morrilton; grandchildren, Jeremy Stobaugh and wife Valarie, Keith Stobaugh and wife Erin, Cara Newman, David Newman, Blaine Jones and Emilee Jones; great-grandchildren, Eden Stobaugh and Fletcher Stobaugh. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Stobaugh. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, September 25, at the Downtown Church of Christ with Mr. Randy Rankin officiating. Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Pallbearers were David Newman, Keith Stobaugh, Jeremy Stobaugh, Blaine Jones, Curtis Jones, and Richie Stobaugh. Honorary pallbearers were the Elders of the Downtown Church of Christ. Petit Jean County Headlight
