From Ashby Funeral Home online obituary:
Tennie Bell Drennan, age 83, of Benton, passed away Sunday January 25, 2009. She was born March 9, 1925, in Benton, Arkansas. Mrs. Drennan was a case worker at DHS and a member of First United Methodist Church in Benton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Beatrice Zinn; husband, Leonard Joseph Drennan and a son, Larry Drennan.
She is survived by her son, Lenn Drennan of Story; brother, George Zinn of Story; two sisters, Lillian Wimberley and Mildred Kitchens both of Benton; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Al King, Terry Williams, Craig Halpain, Jessie Bradshaw, Bert King and Scott Drennan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday January 29 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at New Rosemont Cemetery. Rev. Greg Taylor will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to C JOHN, P.O. Box 1146, Benton, 72018 or the First United Methodist Women at First United Methodist Church in Benton.
