Son of Frank Caldwell Davis, Sr. & Sally Willie Elliott Davis.
Married Beatrice Marie Queen, December 27, 1948, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Raymond Ola Davis, 76, of Gassville

Services for Raymond Ola Davis of Gassville will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Roller Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Thomas officiating.

Mr. Davis died Thursday (Feb. 5, 1998) at his home. He was 76.

Visitation will be from 12 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Roller Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Caststeel, Michael Conner, Tom Carson, Mark Carson, David Carson and Donald Marler.

Mr. Davis was born May 16, 1921 at Coalinga, Calif. to Frank Caldwell and Sally Wille Elliott Davis. Me married the former Beatrice Marie Queen Decmeber 27, 1948. He was retired as a truck driver for an oil distributor. He was a member of Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War.

He is survived by one son, Raymond Dean Davis of Gassville, one daughter Betty Elaine Smith of Gassville; one brother, George A. Davis of Independence, Mo.; one sister, Edith Marie Swetnam of Gassville, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two sisters and one brother.

Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
