FORT SMITH - Tom Arthur Brown, age 66, of Hackett (Sabastian County), formerly of Star City, Arkansas, died on November 3, 1997, at Fort Smith Hospital.
He was an Army Veteran.
Survivors include four sons, Tommy Brown of Oklahoma City, Joe Brown of Spiro, Oklahoma, Dennis Brown of Hinton, Oklahoma, and Mike Brown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two daughters, Brenda Moody of Spiro and Debra Golden of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Buford Brown of Crossett, Arkansas and Raymond Brown of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Mary Ann Jackson Nichols of Phoenix, Arizona and Gertrude Clay of Duncan, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services was held 11 a.m. on Friday at the Griffin Funeral Home Chapel at Star City, Arkansas. Burial was in Tyro Cemetery in Lincoln, County Arkansas.
