Jennie Fielding Pond

She was the daughter of Clarence Emory and Mary Cora Fielding Pond.
Jennie was a very educated lady attending Cotter school until the 11th year when she trasferred to Galloway College to finish high school. She attended Emmerson College of Orotory in Boston and received a degree in drama. In 1947 she received a law degree at the University of Arkansas. She practiced law in Cotter and Mt. Home and served as City attorney for Cotter a number of years. Hats were her trademark.
