May 20, 1922 - May 20, 1999
Mr. David Lonzo Bell, 77, of Lake Village died Thursday, May 20, 1999, at the Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village. He was a retired carpenter, a World War II veteran of the U. S. Army, and a member of the Bayou Mason Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Myrtis Bell of Lake Village; two sons, J. D. Bell and David Bell of Lake Village; two daughters, Margie Green of Montrose and Margaret Merritt of Brookhaven, MS; two sisters, Debbie Hamilton and Beulah Rick of Lake Village; 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 22, in the Bayou Mason Baptist Church with Revs. Tom Christmas and L. C. Hoff officiating. Burial followed services at the Bayou Mason Cemetery, directed by Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
