Mrs. Dorothy J. Nelson Watson, 85, of Mountain Home passed away Sunday, December 11, 2005. She was born to William and Ida (DuBose) Alward on September 14, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan. Dorothy was a Licensed Practical Nurse in her working years; and enjoyed her church family, reading, and traveling (especially to beaches and resorts) during her retirement years. She and her husband Kenneth moved to the Mountain Home area after his retirement in 1970, and Dorothy continued to work as a nurse at the hospital and Baxter Labs. Dorothy was an active member of First Christian Church, and her membership in the Faith Group there was a joy to her. She is survived by her daughters: Jodi Nelson of Mountain Home and Nancy (Dan) Maysilles of New Port Richey, Florida; grandson Ryan Nelson (Samantha) Cragg; and nieces Julie Rimer and Donna BuBose. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth, and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, December 15, 2005 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lee Nirschl and Reverend Allen Mayo officiating. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Christian Church.
