BROOKS, Sarah – {from Johnson} Mrs. Sarah Brooks, wife of William Brooks, died at her home north of Johnson Saturday evening. Mrs. Brooks has been in ill health for some time but the serious result of her illness was unexpected by her many friends. Funeral services were held at Shady Grove Baptist church Monday evening and she was laid in the cemetery at that place. She is survived by a husband and one daughter, Mrs. Lee Davis of Southwest City, Mo., besides many other relatives who have the tender sympathy of a host of friends.
