Claude Guy Crigler was born 19 Feb 1896 in Charlotte, AR. He was a teacher, beginning in Sharp Co. He came to Baxter Co. about 1928 with wife Myrtle Lena Johnson and two sons. He came to go to Mt. Home College to continue his studies to become a Baptist minister. In 1932 he accepted a position to teach fourth and fifth grades at Cotter. He continued his ministerial work and in 1945 he left teaching to continue is missonary work. He continued his ministry for 44 years. He and Myrtle had three sons. He died Jul 10, 1975.
