Obituary from The White River Currant, Calico Rock, Arkansas:

Eva Marie Scott Hanley, age 84, of Melbourne, died Wednesday, January 22, 1992, in the Baxter Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Melbourne Church of Christ.

She is survived by two sons, Clay Hanley of Mountain Home and Cleo Hanley of Wichita, Kansas; two daughter, Lois Alford of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Syble Frizzell of Mammoth Springs; one sister-in-law, Maude Tomlinson of Salem; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three great-great-gr4andchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Alph Hanley.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 25 in the Melbourne Church of Christ at 2 p.m. with Terry Frizzell and Chuck Crow officiating. Burial was in the Violet Hill Cemetery, with arrangements by Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.

Serving as pallbearers were Curtis Dale, Hays Tomlinson, P. O. Wren, Joe Davidson, Max Tomlinson and J. P. Davidson. Honorary pallbearers were Herdon Firzzell, Walter Hall, John Copeland and Boyce Gillihan.
