Mrs. Erwin died Friday, January 2, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 105. She was born Tuesday, March 31, 1903 in Carrollton, Missouri, daughter of Henry Bungenstock and Susan McCorkle Bungenstock. She married Walter Erwin on May 31, 1927 at Carrollton, Missouri, and was a homemaker. Elizabeth lived in Mountain Home for 39 years, moving from Brookfield, Missouri. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors: Mrs. Erwin is survived by her nephew, R. B. (Geraldine) Erwin of Lathrup Village, MI, Great-niece, Alisa Erwin of Lathrup Village, MI, and good friends for 29 years, Euan and Kathy Richardson of Mountain Home, AR.
Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband .
Visitation: Visitation will be from 6-7 P.M., Sunday, January 4 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home.
Funeral: Graveside services for Mrs. Elizabeth Erwin of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 5, 2009 at Baxter Memorial Gardens, with Reverend Dr. Fred Taylor officiating.
Burial: Burial will be in the Baxter Memorial Gardens, Mountain Home, AR.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
Active Bearers: T. J. Persenaire, Euan Richardson, Ted Sanders, Charles Rhea, Robert Stewart, and Kyle Stewart as pallbearers.
