TROWBRIDGE, James Henry – J.H. Trowbridge died Friday night about midnight at his home south of town. He had been a sufferer from sciatic rheumatism for a number of years and had been confined to his bed since January. This coupled with pneumonia caused his death. Funeral services were held at the residence Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Daniel Trundle, pastor of the Christian Church, after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Shady Grove. James Henry Trowbridge was born in Owen County, Kentucky and was sixty years of age. He had been married twice, his first wife being Miss Alice Goodpastor. His surviving wife was Miss Annie Buchanan and they were married at Prairie Grove from which place they came to Springdale about twenty years ago where they have since resided. There are two surviving sons, Willie and Mack, as a result of his last union. The deceased leaves five sisters, three in Indiana and two in Missouri and two brothers, one in Indiana and one ?.W., who resides at Carthage.
