Anna Jean Pleasant Dahlke, age 66, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born October 4, 1942 in Howard Ridge, Missouri to the late Wylo Ralph and Linnie Marie (Stevens) Pleasant.
Mrs. Dahlke married D.A. Dahlke July 16, 1960 in Morrilton, Arkansas. She formerly worked as the office manager at North Arkansas Electric for 18 years and was a former secretary at Pinkston and Guy Berry Middle Schools for 17 years. She was a member of the Midway Baptist Church, Mountain Home Retired Teachers Association, Arkansas Retired Teachers Association and the Midway Volunteer Fire Department Auxillary.
Mrs. Dahlke is survived by her husband D.A. Dahlke of the home, two sons: David Dahlke and wife Paula of Albertville, Alabama and Doin Dahlke and wife Karen of Van Buren, Arkansas, five grandchildren: P.D., Dane, Beau and BreAnne Dahlke and Kelsey Furr, two sisters: Sandy Almond and husband Wayne and Elaine Quick all of Mountain Home, a step-mother: Corrine Pleasant of Monte Vista, Colorado, her mother-in-law: Margie Dahlke of Mountain Home, Arkansas, a half-sister: Janet Meyer and husband Steve of Monte Vista, Colorado and three half-brothers: Bruce Pleasant and wife Kim of Seattle, Washington, Ronnie Pleasant and wife Connie of Monte Vista, Colorado and Roger Pleasant and wife Marceta of Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by a son: Donald Gene Dahlke and a father-in-law George August Dahlke.
