Euna Mae Nelson, age 83, a native of Mountain Home passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born May 23, 1922 in Hand, Arkansas to the late Herman Oscar and Luna Octie (Russell) Langston. She married Neil Nelson December 31, 1940 in Mountain Home. He preceded her in death October 6, 1994. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain Home and the Twin Lakes Golf Association being the ladies club champion for 14 years.
Mrs. Nelson is survived by three sons: Robert Nelson and wife Ann, Larry Nelson and wife Brenda both of Mountain Home and Tommy Nelson and wife Sandi of Rowlett, Texas, two sisters: Ava Lee Hammock and husband Doyle and Maxine Kent and husband Wasson both of Mountain Home, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband: Neil, one sister: Shirley Allen and one grandchild: Susan Lynn Nelson.
