SPRINGDALE — Leland A. Nease, 67, of Springdale died April 15, 2009, in Springdale. He was born June 12, 1941, in Havana, Kan., to Francis H. and Lena Booth Nease.
He was in insurance for 20 years before being the owner/operator and baker for Dandy Donuts from which he retired in 2007.
He was preceded by a grandson.
Survivors include his wife; Carolyn Shaiff Nease; three sons, Kevin Nease of Winslow, and Scott Nease and John Nease, both of Springdale; a sister, Lola Cornelison of Seminole, Okla.; two brothers, Howard Nease of Oviedo, Fla., and Jim Nease of Kaw City, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, online at www.nelsonberna.com.
Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Springdale.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
