Marjorie Vigus Knudson died peacefully October 31,2006 at Hiram Shaddox Geriatric Center in Mountain Home. She was born February 16, 1924 in Sidnaw,Michigan to Genevieve and Boyd Hammond. Marjorie married Richard E. Vigus on August 23, 1941. They lived in Jackson, Michigan before moving to Greensburg, KY and later to Mountain Home. Mr.Richard E. Vigus passed away in 1985. Marjorie later married Robert Knudson on September 4, 2000, he passed away February 9, 2005. Mrs. Marjorie Vigus Knudson is survived her son Gerald A. Vigus, two brother-in-laws including William Vigus of Mountain Home and Dwight (Colleen) Vigus of Monticello, IN; four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Steven Carl Vigus of Summerland Key, FL, four sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Knudson enjoyed sewing, dancing and crafts. She was a longtime volunteer with the Baxter Regional Medical Center Auxiliary as a Pink Lady and she enjoyed working at the Bargain Box. Mrs. Knudson wasa member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Mountain Home. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Marjorie Vigus Knudson will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Baxter Regional Medical Center Auxiliary.
