Mrs. Emogene "Jean" Nuckolls, aged 75, of Bull Shoals and formerly of Forrest City, died Monday July 2, 2001, at her home.
She was born May 3, 1926, in Forrest City, the daughter of the late Revel and Ora Gwathney Gregory. She was a member of the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church, the Art Club and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husand, A.D. Nuckolls; a daughter, Rita Darling of Bull Shoals; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
Visitation was from noon until 2 p.m. today, Thursday, July 5, 2001, at the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church. Funeral services followed at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gary Goldman and Rev. Dr. Fred Taylor officiating with Roller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial followed in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or the American Diabetes Foundation.
