Mrs. Elizabeth “Liz” Lechowich, 96, of Gamaliel, passed away Sunday, April 20 at Care Manor. Visitation will be from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. Monday at Roller Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 A.M. Monday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend James Fanrak, Celebrant. Entombment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Love.
Mrs. Lechowich was born February 10, 1912 in Jenny Lind, Arkansas to Frank and Christine Pausche Krisher. She married Michael Lechowich in January of 1933. She was a member of the Legion of Mary and St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. She retired in 1968 and moved to Mountain Home from Chicago, Illinois.
Survivors include two sisters: Mrs. Vera Fox of Oklahoma and Mrs. Agnes Macejak of Illinois. She was Aunt to many loving nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, including June “Sylvia” Hunter of Mountain Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Michael Lechowich in 2002, a brother Henry Krisher and two sisters, Christine Rowden and Ann DeCroo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
