Gracie Marie Jones, 66, of Mountain Home passed away Monday, March 22, 2004 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center.

Gracie Marie Jones was born January 2, 1938 in Wideman, AR to Ted and Carrie Dockins Owens. She married Ellis Jones March 10, 1956 at Calico Rock. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the College and North Street Church of Christ and a member of the Sojourners. She enjoyed quilting and she loved spoiling her grandchildren.

Gracie Marie Jones is survived by her husband Ellis Jones of the home; her mother: Carrie Owens of Forty Four, AR; 3 daughters: Peggy DeWeese (Barry), Rose Bell and Donna Jarrett (Doug) and 7 grandchildren: Matt Melton, Michael Melton, Melissa Jones, Tina Bell, Andy Bell, Jimmy Raney and Lance Raney. She is also survived by 3 brothers and 5 Sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gracie Marie Jones will be Thursday, March 25, 2:00 P.M. at the College and North Street Church of Christ with Brother Ken Burton officiating. Pallbearers will be Matt Melton, Michael Melton, Jeff Jones, Andy Bell, Jimmy Raney and Lance Raney. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Jones, Doug Oaks, Richard Kemp, Doyle Davis and Doyle Hammack.

Memorials may be made to the Paragould’s Children’s Home.
