Mrs. Betty J. Dale, 84, of Gassville, passed away Aug. 21, 2008 at her home. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM Sat. Aug 23 at Roller Funeral Home. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Dr. Siegfried Johnson and Rev. Randy Ludwig will be 2 PM Sat. at Roller Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Baxter Memorial Mausoleum of Love.
Mrs. Dale was born August 18, 1924 in Rock Rapids, Iowa to Steward and Hazel Rishel Bower. She married Robert J. Dale on Aug. 11, 1980 in Hampshire, Illinois. She enjoyed quilting and her hatpin and stamp collections. She was a friend to animals and volunteered at the animal shelter. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Dale of Gassville; a brother, Glen Bower of Eljay, Georgia and several nieces & nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the First United Methodist Church Maintenance Fund. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
