Daniel H. Ausman, 79, of Mountain Home, went to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1927 in Milwaukee, WI to William and Ida (Horwitz) Ausman. Dan served in the Navy in WWII. He married Diane (Koniecki) Klass on June 4, 1978 in Milwaukee. Dan worked in direct sales most of his working life, and most recently worked for Annette’s Flowers. He was a member and president of the Twin Lakes Shrine Club where he was chairman of the Shrine Circus Committee, a member of the Legion of Honor, Yellville Masonic Lodge #117, Alley White American Legion Post #52, and Twin Lakes Baptist Church.

Mr. Ausman is survived by: his wife, Diane Ausman of the home, 5 children: Judy White, Jim (Lisa) Klass; Joe (Chris) Klass, Jean (Terry) Strom, and Jeff (Janine) Klass; 3 children from an earlier marriage: Richard, Diane, and Roberta, 10 Grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 1 brother, Sheldon (Sandra) Ausman. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at Roller Funeral Home, Thursday from Noon – 9 PM with the family receiving friends 5-8; and a Masonic Memorial service at 7:30 PM. Funeral services will be held at Twin Lakes Baptist Church, Friday at 10:00 AM with Reverend Dr. Sam Bailey officiating. Entombment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens’ Mausoleum of Love with Military Funeral Honors.
