Adeline M. Marsicek, 91 of Mountain Home, died Sunday at her home. She was born May 9, 1914, in Spalding, Michigan to James and Marcillean (Morin) Gunville. A retired elementary school teacher, Mrs. Marsicek was a member of the Baxter County Retired Teachers Association, C.C.W., the Hospital Auxiliary Pink Ladies, the Welcome Wagon, the Legion of Mary, and St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church
Mrs. Marsicek is survived by her daughter, Bette L. Davis of Eden Prairie, MN, her son, John H. Marsicek of Mountain Home, 2 grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Laudy, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
A prayer service will begin at 6:00 PM Thursday evening at Roller Funeral Home, with visitation to follow until 8:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Rev. James Fanrak, celebrant. Interment will follow at Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
