Pardee Charles Muse, 59, died Oct 6, at Gothenburg, NE. He was a Mt. Home resident and a retired furnace operator for Kaiser Aluminum Co.
The funeral was Saturday at Kirby Funeral Home Chapel in Mr. Home. The Rev. E.N. Rogers and the North Central Arkansas Veterans Council and the Ozark Post No. 3246 Veterans of Foreign Wars officiated. Visitation was Friday evening. Burial was at Galatia Cemetery at Norfork.
Mr. Muse was born Dec 31, 1923 at Kansas City, KS, the son of Mamie Dyer Muse and Ira Muse. He married Virgie Lawson April 20, 1983 at Gainesville, MO.
Survivors are his wife, two sons, Monty Muse of San Diego, CA, and Jim Muse of Spokane, WA; a daughter Mona Stillwell of Spokane; a brother Everett Muse of St. Joseph, MO; three sisters, Clara Carter of Hutchinson, KS, Sara Lake and Dora Deusing, both of Barstow, CA; on step son Joe Harris of Avenue City, MO; two step daughters, Betty Shodegger of St. Joseph and Carol Oliver of Savannah, MO and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bud Cornwell, Joe Harris, Troy Lawson, Chris Oliver, Junior Standfield and Kenneth Lawson.
