John Birdin Ashby

funeral services for John Birdin Ashby, 43, who died at Norfork February 27, were held at the Galatia Cemetery with Rev Claude Crigler officiating.
Suvivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Offie Sledge of Bangs, TX, one son, robert of Old Joe; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mr. Ashby was born in Jackson, MS in 1843 (this date is obviously wrong). He moved to Norfork last year from NM.
