Services For Mrs. E. E. Turner Held Wednesday.

Funeral services were held at the Violet Hill Baptist Church Wednesday for Mrs. E. E. Claudia Turner of Violet Hill who passed away in Melbourne on Monday. Rev. D. G. Hindman of Melbourne delivered the memorial sermon. Interment was in the Violet Hill Cemetery. The Crouch Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Turner was born at Franklin, Ark., August 9, 1906 and passed away September 26, 1955 at the age of 49 years, 1 month and 17 days. She had lived most of her life in Izard County.

She was married to Edward Earl Turner at Franklin to this union two children were born, Edward Earl Jr. who died in infancy and Harold W. Turner of Kansas City, Kan.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband of the home and her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Billingsley of Franklin; three brothers, Harry Billingsley of Franklin, Treba Lee Billingsley of Wenatchee, Wash., and Cecil Billingsley also of Wenatchee; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Batterton of Franklin and Mrs. Gladys King of Upland, Calif. She is also survived by two grandchildren, June and Janette Turner of Kansas City, Kan., many other relatives and a host of friends.
