Elizabeth Reid Dillard, wife of Samuel Dillard, b. 1799 in Pacolet, Spartanburg County, SC.; d. July 19, 1974. Her parents were Thomas Reid and Judith Briant of Spartanburg County, SC. Her grandfather was William Reid, a Revolutionary War patriot. She & Samuel lived in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi before moving to the Clark & Pike County area of Arkansas.
