John C. Cobb, 79, Springdale, died Oct. 17 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Feb. 16, 1895 at Baxter Springs, Kan,, he was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Cleo Cobb, Fort Worth, Tex., and James Cobb, Springdale; four daughters, Mrs. Orval (Ora) Martin, Lakeland, Fla., Mrs. Bill (Myrtle) Clayman, Highlandville, Mo., Mrs. Dorothy Buchanan and Mrs. Don (Christine) Carter, Springdale; one brother, Steve Cobb, Washington; 19 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Silent Grove Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.
