Shirley Delores Nager Mejia, of Salem, daughter of Della Belcher Lenz and the late Aubrey Jennings Wall, was born April 23, 1951, in Harvey, Ill. She died April 3, 2007, at her home in Salem.

She was united in marriage to Steven Nager in 1968. She later married Genario Mejia. She was a beauty operator and a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include: her children, Sherry Bechtold and husband Shannon of Norcross, Ga., Lisa Nager of Scott City, Mo., Joshua Nager of Austell, Ga., and Anthony Mejia of Salem; her mother, Della Lenz and step-father, Lowell Lenz of Horseshoe Bend; grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Stice of Scott City, Mo., and Hailey Marie Bechtold of Norcross, Ga.; sisters, Linda Sue Chapman of Pasadena, Texas, and Deborah Wall of Gulfport, Miss.; step-sister, Deanna Lehman and husband Mark of Perham, Minn.; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a baby sister, Bethesda Wall; her father; and her grandparents.

A private graveside service was held April 10 at Violet Hill Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
